Identity & Fraud Business Development Manager

(Fraud and ID subject matter expert - Insurance Vertical)

A truly exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the Global Leading Identity & Fraud team's as a Business Development Manager working within their vertical teams, focused on new business activity within our existing and largest customers and prospects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of the Identity, Fraud and Payments suite including data services, analytical capabilities and software solutions throughout the customer lifecycle to help our client's combat financial crime, improve customer experience and meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

Applications preferred from candidates who can demonstrate proven success of driving sales solutions in the field of digital payments, fraud management or financial crime compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Working with allocated tier 1 clients, you will be identifying new business opportunities as you develop existing and new relationships within your allocated clients. Ensuring sales objectives are translated into specific plans and targets as appropriate. Ensuring clients have a smooth and harmonious experience of the sales process. Within your accounts, you will develop long-term (1-3 year) and tactical, short-term sales initiatives and programmes to achieve overall strategic plans. Participate in and contribute to the development of the overall strategic account plan(s). Provide timely and accurate forecasts built from granular data and insight providing current and future market trends and competitive activity.
Skills & Attributes
Proven domain knowledge and subject matter expertise applicable within or across the fraud, financial crime and authentication landscape. A successful track record of new business sales wins with large corporates. Experience of preparing large tenders and responding to RFIs/ RFPs Creative thinker, who can strategise and is comfortable building and positioning solutions in collaboration with clients Excellent networking and communication skills Experience of designing and supporting targeted marketing campaigns Ability to liaise, influence, and challenge effectively A good understanding of UK regulatory landscape Ability to build relationships at multiple levels within a client, peer group and virtual team. Good business acumen and industry knowledge Commercially and risk aware A self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team Agile with change and restless to build a good stakeholder network within their allocated accounts Excellent organisation skills and the ability to operate and manage customers at all levels effectively within a matrix environment Ability to generate credibility and respect at very senior levels A team player who can work with, and contribute to close knit and ambitious specialist and vertical teams

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Based in the London office with occasional UK- wide travel, this position has the responsibility for generating new business for the Professional Services department, and wider business, through the sale of innovative solutions to clients as well as driving the team forward through contribution to the strategy. You will responsible for;
Providing pre-sales support and assistance to sales teams, allowing the successful positioning of Experian Data Quality solutions, ensuring the correct requirements are scoped. Help to facilitate the client's technical understanding of Data Quality products, acting as a key advisor. Provide quantifiable recommendations on how Data Quality services can be of benefit Act as a key advisor to clients' who are undertaking data migrations, data cleansing, data integration projects. Be able to articulate technical solutions using both our APIs and standalone tools and how these fulfil client need Providing input on tenders - RFx's Building propositions for our key sectors: Retail, Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Telcos and Public Sector. Represent EDQ in marketing events - conducting webinars, presenting at roundtable discussions. Be comfortable in front of customers having strong customer interaction skills able to deliver prepared slide-decks and demonstrations.
The right candidate will be self-motivated and driven, looking for their next step into a successful global company. They will be articulate, sharp and well presented to come who can demonstrate the required attributes, ideally with a software or data background looking to take their next step in their career.

The role offers a generous base salary of up to £60k depending on experience, 20% annual bonus plus a generous benefits package including car allowance.
