We're a passionate supporter of the Great British Pub, investing well over £100 million over the past 5 years with a commitment to continue to invest heavily in our Estate of 2900 pubs over the next 5 years. We're helping our licensees and operators to create successful pubs and help them remain at the heart of their communities.

Our Edinburgh office is home to our passionate Pub Support Team. The team are the engine room of the pub business, the guardians of our processes, supporting our colleagues and lessees and making things happen! It's a busy environment, fast paced, challenging and rewarding as we work together on one goal - to help build Britain's best pub company.

What would you do as part of our team?

As a key member of our Pub Support Team, you'll be the first line of support for queries from our managed house operators and colleagues from our business development teams.

This involves you managing and maintaining multiple systems and being the guardian of a number of processes.

Depending on the team you could be providing comprehensive support to our Property and Development teams (tracking project budget spend, ensuring prompt payment of suppliers and following project progress )…

or you could be supporting our virtual regional teams, problem solving, investigating administrative exceptions, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders along with a varied workload to keep the operations of our pubs going.

When we say these roles are fast paced, we mean it, there is a lot to juggle and many people to build relationships with. You'll need to enjoy being in a busy environment!

We'd be delighted if you could bring first class organisational skills, gained through experience in a role where you have demonstrated high data input accuracy and multiple task coordination – this will mean that you will know how to prioritise a varied workload!

We need highly motivated team players with an aptitude for problem solving, effective multi-tasking and good communication skills. To be successful in these roles you will need to demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, intermediate Excel skills and have previous experience of either:

processing purchase orders, reconciling invoices and liaising with suppliers
managing multiple stakeholders, primarily via email and phone
a high attention to detail to keep data entry right first time
