The salary will be paid at Grade 6 £32,958 - £39,324 per annum plus £2,623 London Weighting Allowance per annum. This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 12 months This is a Full-time 100 % full time equivalent post Global Health & Social Medicine (formerly known as the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine) is a unique interdisciplinary department at King’s founded in 2012. GHSM is already ranked within the top 10 of sociology departments in the UK.  Its mission is to address the changing landscape of health and medicine from social science perspectives. We explore the complex social determinants of health, illness and ageing, and the relationship between advances in biomedicine and biotechnology with social and medical practices. The Department invites applications for one Teaching Fellow position. The Teaching Fellow will be expected to contribute to teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. You will have completed, or be close to obtaining a PhD in Global Public Health, Public Health, Sociology (or another related social science discipline). You must have relevant teaching experience and excellent communication skills. A postgraduate teaching and learning qualification in higher education would be an advantage.  This is a fixed term positions for 12 months. The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview. Interviews will be held on Thursday the 13th of July.
