Nothing But Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Principal Socail Worker (Grade 8) to work for the local Council in Cardiff. The role is based at a Children's Service on the 14+ team. Ideal candidate needs to be a qualified and registered social worker. Has previous exsperiance working with Children.
Hours Per Week: 37 hours
Shift Pattern: 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
Rate: £22 to £28 per hour (negotiable – please state minimum hourly rate)
Responsible for promoting and quality assuring effective assessment, Care Planning, intervention and review for Children in need, Looked After Children and Child protection situations. Responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of systems and for providing a consultation role on practice issues to ensure quality of service. Responsible for delegated decision making in the absence of team/service managers. Principal social workers engaged via agencies are usually expected to deal mainly with casework.
Education and Training needed
•A recognised social work qualification and registration with the Care Council for Wales •Post Qualifying Award •Practice Teaching Award
•Working with Children and their families •Supporting/coaching other staff/students/volunteers •Practice developments and project work •Working at a Senior Social Worker level •Supervisory experience

Nothing But Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Internal Supported Accommodation Manager on an on going contract basis.
Full Time: 37 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Contract length: Ongoing contract (minimum of 3 months)
Pay rate: £20 to £25 per hour dependant on experience
The service supports 27 people with learning disabilities to live in their own houses in the city. In this role you would be responsible for managing 70 staff across 10 houses and would maintain all aspects of the service such as writing and updating policies and procedures, identifying staff training and development needs and ensuring recording formats meet the requirements of the people we work with.
For this role you will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and skilled regarding working with people with Learning Disabilities and managing staff. We are looking for a very capable individual who has a good understanding of legislation such as the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care Act Wales 2016, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and professional standards and can lead staff in ensuring the service meets all regulatory requirements.
The requirements of the role are:
•Detailed knowledge of relevant legislation •Social Care Wales Registration •QCF 5 in Leadership and Management in Social care (or equivalent) •Previous managerial/supervisory experience •Full UK driving license •DBS - Or be prepared to have DBS check
