Systems Project ManagerJob offer
The post holder will work closely with the Director of UCL Medical School, Divisional Tutor, Head of MBBS Management, Head of Medical Student Support and Records and UCLMS IT Systems Manager. Their main areas of responsibility will include: Project Management, MBBS Programme Management and Student Record Systems, Online Assessments, MBBS Learning Technologies and Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle). They will also assist the IT Systems manager with timetabling, and support with delivering staff training and development. The successful candidate will have received training in project management or have proven relevant skills. They will have a high understanding of Higher Education academic programme management requirements, audiences, interactions and services, preferably in relation to undergraduate medical education, preferably in relation to the undergraduate medical education. They will have experience of learning design and e-learning content development including Virtual Learning Environment platforms. The Human Resources Officer provides essential support for the day to day HR administration within ICTM, working closely with the HR Manager on all HR related activities for the Institute covering all aspects of the employment cycle. The role holder will be part of the Institute’s professional services team and is expected to have a professional attitude and pro-active approach in order to undertake the role.  The role is offered as a job share on the basis of 2 days per week and the ability to build a close working relationship with the job share partner is important. The role holder will be responsible for administering recruitment processes and contractual changes; monitoring new starter processes, probation and appraisals; advising staff on a range of HR policies and supporting staff development initiatives.  The ideal candidate will be able to work well with others as well as independently. The role is ideally suited to an individual who works well in a dynamic environment, where attention to detail, and ability to resolve problems are important, along with the ability to manage varied workloads.
