An opportunity exists for someone to be part of Wakefield Councils Homeless Team. The team provides homeless prevention, assessment and decision making services to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.


The role involves undertaking casework to identify and address an applicant's housing related problems and to provide reports to enable decisions to be made on what duty the Council owes to those who are homeless.

A reliable and highly motivated candidate with a positive and flexible approach is required to join the Events and Functions Team to provide a reception service at Cedars Business Centre and Agbrigg Community Centre.

The post holder will be the face of Wakefield Council with responsibility for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support.

We are looking to appoint an Admin Assistant to join our friendly and supportive staff team. The successful applicant will work in our busy office, providing administrative support to the school and liaising with parents, carers and visitors.

St Austin's is a Catholic Primary School and the successful candidate will be expected to be sympathetic towards and supportive of the Christian values of the school although it is not necessary to be a practising Catholic.

Applications must be submitted using the CES application form which is available on line at www.catholiceducation.org.uk and should be returned to Mr K Flood, the Headteacher at the school. Closing date for application is 12 noon on Friday 13th April. An application pack is also available on the school website at www.st-austins.wakefield.sch.uk
